Today was my first time here and Sarah did my no chip. She was great and really paid attention to detail. I will definitely be back. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was annoying asking for specific things. She was really nice and made sure I was happy with my nails before I left. I really appreciate her.

My mom has been a years-long customer, and is an extremely good tipper usually tipping over 20%. This time she went in for a mani-pedi and was rushed into getting double teamed with an employee doing one service and the manager doing the other. The total was $45. When my mom was checking out she tipped with a $10 bill, over 20%.

I had my nails done here last Friday. I got a no chip manicure. It is now Tuesday and they have all chipped and lifted. I’m very upset that I paid 45$ for nails that barely lasted 4 days. This was also the sloppiest manicure I’ve ever gotten. I did add an extra star because everyone there was very nice and the facility was very clean.

Critical:Professionalism,Punctuality,ValueI’m disappointed to be writing this review because I have been a J Nails patron for many years and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on their services. They have always been so friendly and accommodating. I recently had a French manicure no chip done in which the white was discolored and chipped off after one day. I returned to show them how badly the color and no chip had gone. They wrapped my fingers in the foil and polish remover and had me sit for almost thirty minutes, at which point the skin on my fingers was so dried out it started to peel. Other customers were coming in to the salon (no appointment!) and were being taken before me. I felt like I was being punished and was legitimately in pain. Only did they come take the foil off when they saw me taking it off myself, upset and preparing to leave. Someone finally came and finished the rest of my service, managing to cut my already sensitive finger with clippers, and then charged me full price! For their mistakes! After the amount of time and money I have spent at this salon, I will never be returning. They have always been so friendly and accommodating. I recently had a French manicure no chip done in which the white was discolored and chipped off after one day. I thought if the nails turned out okay then I would disregard the terrible service but within 24 hours I already had one nail start to chip, then the top half completely rip off of that nail. Now I have 2 other nails chipping and one of them ripping on the side and it’s only been 3 days! I would give this place zero stars if I could! I’m not sure which was worse – the service or the “no chip” manicure. I thought if the nails turned out okay then I would disregard the terrible service but within 24 hours I already had one nail start to chip, then the top half completely rip off of that nail. I love this salon when I need to take a break to relax and get pampered. The technicians are always friendly and efficient. My nails always are finished in perfect shape, and I’ve never had any issues with being cut or having services done too roughly. They take their time to listen to what shape you want and find colors that look great on you. The salon is clean and hygenic, and they take their time to make sure that you’re happy before you leave!
